Annual Adult Wilfardo Party!

Now the hectic pace of Christmas is over

it's time to get together with the Barfuss Cousins

for our Annual Adult Wilfardo Party

Join us on Saturday January 7, 2012

to enjoy delicious food,

lots of visiting,

a few good laughs

as well as unique white elephant gifts

We'll plan to eat at 6:30

We'll have our traditional "Taco Bar"

along with appetizers and dessert

PLEASE reply to this e-mail and let Grandma know

if you are coming or not by Wed Dec. 4th

so she'll know how much food to prepare

Grandma will provide the main course

Call her if you will be willing to bring appetizers or dessert.

He weighed 8 lbs 5.2 oz

and is 21 inches long

and is a beautiful, healthy baby!

Tylie and Mason are anxious to get him home

so they can help mom take care of him!

Grandma Heidi couldn't be happier

her Quiver is getting full!

She now has six precious grandchildren!

Grandpa Barfuss is pretty happy too!

His posterity is really growing...

There are 33 Wilfardo's....17 girls and 16 boys

And

23 Wilfy's...7 girls and 16 boys!

It's That Time Again!

It's General Conference time again

and time for the Barfuss men to get together

to go to the Saturday night Priesthood Conference

This activity is a highlight for Grandpa

and he is looking forward to it again!

The broadcast of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.

and Grandpa would like to be there in plenty of time

We'll be having the traditional Banana splits

after the conference so ladies and girls

come any time and visit and then we'll

have ice cream with the guys after the meeting.

Welcome Little Wilfy #22

Dylan Richard Mason

was born August 24, 2011

at about 6:00 p.m.

He weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce

and was 19 inches long

Poppa Rick and Momma Brittany

couldn't be happier!

Congratulations!

He's Beautiful

Uncle Chad and Auntie Erica are pretty proud

of their new sweet little nephew!

We are so happy for you

and are glad that he is here safely!

Midvale's Most Beautiful Yard!

Thanks to our wonderful family

Grandpa and Grandma Barfuss have the most

beautiful yard in Midvale!

All your hard work at our FHE work party has

made it possible for us to keep the lawn edged,

the flower beds weeded and the trimmed shrubs flowering.

The flowers have never been more beautiful!

Even a family of quail made their nest

in the corner of the back yard.

We scared the mother off the nest long enough

to get this picture.

We'll be happy when they are hatched so we can

clean up that corner.

Our vegetable garden is beginning to produce.

We've picked chard and zucchini,

there are green tomatoes

and the beans are beginning to blossom.

The new fence is wonderful and it's fun

planting new flowers and shrubs in front of it.

It looks like the grape vine will even produce this year

The lawn is perfectly edged.

Our apple tree has never been prettier.

Kitt is a real pro at trimming trees!

Someone said it looks like it could be in the

Garden of Eden!

After a good trim by Erica and Laura,

even the yucca have never been more beautiful!

Shower Kandis with gifts to help her

set up housekeeping,

and enjoy visiting with the cousins.

FHE Work Party...Great Success!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us get our yard

spiffed up for spring!

We could not have done it without you!

It is so great to have everything in the yard done at once.

Marv and Mary Ellen would never have

gotten that old tree down without Andy's persistence

The old fence is gone and a new one is in it's place.

Everyone pitched in with full energy!

Even the neighbors got in the act.

The rain held off with just a drizzle.

The little kids helped too and enjoyed a skittle break

Natalie and Kimmy prepared a cute FHE lesson

on service that was so appropriate for the occassion.

The 30 ft. dumpster was filled to the top when they

picked it up today.

(there was room for neighbors to get rid of junk too)

Tasks were done that have been waiting for years.

After so much hard work everyone was ready for

sloppy Joe's and salad.

Thanks again for all your help!

as well as weeding, spreading bark

and trimming some overgrown yucca plants

Grandma will provide stuff to make your own sandwiches

for a light supper

Welcome little Jaken Allen Barfuss

Jaken was born April 28, 2011

at 10:10 p.m.

He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces

and was 20 inches long.

and big Brother Caydenand big Sister Madison

He's a cutie---We're happy that he is safely here!

Valerie is going to NYC!

Valerie has been awarded an Internship

in Interior Design with the Jo-Laurie Design Company

in New York City.

She leaves for the "Big Apple" May 7th

She has been swamped with all of her fantastic

design projects.

She'll be living with 5 other girls and will be

in NY for six weeks or more.
