"The More we Get Together...."

We met at the Midvale Cemetery as usual on Memorial Day morning
and enjoyed being together
and sharing information and feelings about Grandma LaRue
and about being a family.
Grandpa with the Wilfardo's and the Wilfy's
Quite a posterity!
It was fun to see where everyone fit in.
The annual Four Square game was as intense and competitive as usual.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast together.
the weather was perfect.
We had a big crowd but we always miss those who couldn't be with us.

The cheering section for the four square game
gave us a chance to visit and enjoy being together.
Thanks everyone for coming!
This day is a Spring highlight for Grandpa and Grandma!

The Perfect Wedding!

Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Glenn ready for pictures.
The ceremony was beautiful and so was the bride.
The reception was fun as everyone joined Liz and Duncan
in the party of all parties!

The evening was perfect--no wind, no rain, with an overcast sky
to keep the temperature comfortable.

The reception line gave guests a chance to greet the bride and groom.

They are on their way for an Eternity of Happiness together.
We wish them well!

Memorial Day 2009 already!

HEADS UP!! MEMORIAL DAY IS EARLY THIS YEAR.
Monday May 25th
These pictures show that it was pretty chilly last year.
Hope it will be warmer this year.
We'll plan the regular meeting at the Midvale Cemetery
at 9:00 am
then breakfast at Grandpa and Grandma's after the
cemetery visit.
Give grandma a call for your food assignments.
Hope to see everyone on Monday May 25th!

A good time to keep in touch with everyone
and remember our heritage.

The handsome members of the family!

Kandis's Mission has begun!

Wednesday May 6, 2009---Kandis's Mission begins today! She is excited to get ready to
enter the MTC!
We enjoyed a special "Family Home Morning" where Kevin, Kandis' Stake President, set her apart as a Missionary.
Jake, Kandis and Courtney blended their voices together in a musical testimony.
Each member of the Lythgoe family, as well as Grandpa and Grandma Barfuss and Grandpa and Grandma Lythgoe, bore sweet testimonies and shared favorite missionary scriptures.
The Spirit was strong and grateful tears were shed
as Kandis commits the next 18 months to the Lord.
We are so proud of her!

The Lythgoe Siblings enjoyed a group hug as the meeting concluded.

Everyone is ready to travel to the Provo MTC.
