Adult Wilfardo Party!
The annual Adult Wilfardo Party
will be held Saturday January 8, 2011
This will be after the Lythgoes' come back to school
and before Christie leaves for her Mission
We look forward to hearing from Kandis
about her mission to New York!
We'd love to have a talent sharing time.
I think grandpa has already committed Spencer
to play a number on the piano.
Hope others of you will be willing to share.
We'll have a meal together at 6:30,
enjoy each others' talents,
See how Fantasy Football is progressing,
Exchange white elephant gifts,
have fun catching up of each others' lives,
and open your annual Christmas stocking from Santa!
So mark Saturday January 8th on your calendar,
Find your best white elephant gift and come join
your cousins for a good time!

WILFARDO/WILFY CHRISTMAS PARTY
Mark December 18th on your calendar
for the annual Barfuss Wilfardo/Wilfy Christmas Party.
Jodie will arrange for the Wilfardo Gift exchange
and Andrea will arrange the gift exchange for the Wilfy's
We look forward to seeing you all on December 18th!
The time for the adult Wilfardo party will be forthcoming.....
as we figure out when most of you will be available!
With missionaries coming and going and
scheduling around the various plans of those living out of state
we'll need to decide what is best for the most.
We wish you could all be there, but we know that is next to impossible
so please let us know what will be best for you!
This party is a favorite for us...Hope it is for you!

PICNIC CANCELLED!
With a family as big as ours
there are many conflicting activities
vying for our time....
We just seem to want to do it all...
but it's impossible to be in two places at once
SO...
with scheduled baptisms, moves to Arizona, temple sealings
and a hundred other things
we're having to cancel the Farmington Picnic
which was scheduled for Saturday July 31,2010.
Thanks to Andy and Julie for inviting us to come
to their lovely backyard...maybe next year.
In the meantime we look forward to seeing everyone
at the upcoming weddings.

Thanks everyone for bringing such tasty food.
Several asked for the Quiche recipe.
We'll publish it below.

Ham and Cheese Quiche
(Grandma Sally's Version)
2 unbaked pie shells
Bake the empty pie shells in a 425 degree oven for 5 minutes
Remove the shells and cool slightly
Turn the oven down to 350 degrees
8 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup half and half cream
1- 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp dry mustard mixed with 1 Tb. water
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Mix well...this is enough liquid for 2 pies
Into each baked pie shell layer...
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated swiss cheese
1/2 cup finely diced ham
2 Tbs. sliced green onion
(Optional additions)
Mushrooms Sauteed in 1 Tb. butter
Red or green pepper finely chopped
!/4 cup canned french fried onions
Place the pies on a foil covered baking sheet
Pour the egg/milk mixture carefully
over the layers of cheese and ham etc.
Bake in a 350 degree oven 45 minutes until firm
(can be tested with a toothpick)
Remove from the oven and cool at least 20 minutes
before cutting into wedges.
(Can be made the day before
and kept in the fridge
and heated when ready to serve
This actually helps the flavors to intermix
and is much easier to cut when cold)
