Cool Grandpa!

Stacie and Kevin sent Grandpa a pair of "Tevas" for Father's Day.
Now he's ready for the Bear Lake Reunion---boating etc. Kev got himself a pair too. We'll have to have a fashion show as part of the reunion. Cool!

Welcome Home Liz!

Liz is home from Ecuador! She came home a couple of weeks early because her Grandpa Dee Holmes passed away and she came home for the funeral. It was good to see her even though it was sad for her to leave the kids she loved in Eduador and sad to have her Grandpa pass away.
The funeral for Grandpa Dee was wonderful. He was a great man who had a positive influence on many lives. He loved Ford Mustang cars. In this picture Liz is driving her Mom's Mustang convertable in honor of Grandpa Dee.
Welcome home Liz--We're glad that you are home!

Curtis Condo!

Grandpa and Grandma had a wonderful time playing with the Curtis kids at their new Condo at Ideal Beach at Bear Lake June 17th and 18th.. This picture shows beautiful Bear Lake as seen from the spacious deck of the Curtis Condo.
It is a fun accomodation with lots of interesting nooks and Crannys for kids to hide and sleep in. Kimmy and Natalie like to find their secret places to read and to play.

Ideal Beach Resort is such a family friendly place with lots of spacious green lawn to play on as well as easy accesss to the beach, two large swimming pools, tennis courts and anything else a family would enjoy. Badminton on the lawn gave us some good exercise and the kids were very patient with the "old folks".
We enjoyed "swimming" with them in the pool and cheering them on as they demonstrated their diving skills. Kimmy is very brave to dive into the deep end.
We loved playing Racko and Flinch with the kids well past our bedtime. Of course on vacation, eating is almost constant with plenty of good food and snacks available as well as a Raspberry shake from La Beau's in Garden City.
We loved being with our Curtis family for a couple of days!
