J.A. Barfuss 2013 Reunion

This has been a busy summer so far

for the Barfuss Clan

with Weddings, quilting showers, new babies,

and a rousing Memorial Day celebration

but  

THE OFFICIAL J.A. BARFUSS FAMILY REUNION

WILL BE HELD JULY 20, 2013

WE WILL GATHER AT 10:00 AM

AT ANDY AND JULIE'S HOME IN FARMINGTON!

Circle this date on your calendars and plan to join us

for good food, fun games and activities

and plenty of visiting.

Andy and Stacie are in charge and will be getting out

further information and assignments soon.

Memorial Day 2013

 It's that time again to get together at the Midvale Cemetery

 May 27, 2013

at 9:00 a.m.

for visiting, putting flowers on the graves

take the annual family picture

 Then we'll all trek over to Grandpa and Grandma's house

 for the best breakfast in town

And Then........

The annual Four Square tournament

Becks........Eggs

Andy's family.......Pancakes

Thank You!  Thank You!  Everyone 

for helping us get our yard ready for summer again!

You are all amazing!

Everyone pitched in and all the "crummy" jobs got done.

The Lawn was mowed and was

 perfectly edged with the help of an edger,

but then all the old sod had to be cut away and hauled off.

The old mulch was cleared off of the flower beds

and hauled to a big pile behind the garage.

The "quack grass" was dug out of the flower beds 

by the north fence by hand....a really nasty job!

New soil pep was spread, the garden beds were

tilled and raked, The apple tree trimmed

and the branches hauled to the street.

Luckily the spring bulk garbage pick up was on Thursday!

The yard looks great and all ready for planting.

We couldn't have done it without you!!!!!

Then we ordered "Papa Johns" Pizza and the

kids happily announced the arrival of the delivery man

as he drove down the street.

We'll be anxious for you to see how good it looks

when you come to breakfast on Memorial day!!!

Thanks again for a job well done.

Family Home Evening Work Party

It's that time of year again when

Grandpa and Grandma could use a little help

getting their yard spiffed up for spring.

We know that this time of year is soooo busy

with finals and school activities

in full swing so PLEASE

don't feel obligated to come 

if your plate is 

already full to overflowing!

 Come if you can and bring your

work gloves and tools 

to spend a couple of hours

clipping, raking and digging

......Then.....

We'll have PIZZA and root beer

for the fam home eve treat.

Come when you can in the late afternoon

and early evening

and we'll gratefully put you to work

on Monday April 22, 2013

Wilfardo Wedding Shower

It's going to be a busy spring

with three Wilfardo Weddings on the way....

Heather and Will on May 8th

Christie and Michael on June 1st
Austin and Brianna on June 8th
SO....
We've decided to have a combined
Miscellaneous shower on
Saturday April 6th
Since we'll be tying three quilts
we'll need as much help as we can get

Place:  Aunt Julie Beck's house
Time: 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Come when you can
and stay as long as you can
A light supper will be served

The guys will be in Priesthood meeting
so this is a time for the "girls" to enjoy visiting
and working together
