Family Home Evening Work Party

It's that time of year again when

Grandpa and Grandma could use a little help

getting their yard spiffed up for spring.

We know that this time of year is soooo busy

with finals and school activities

in full swing so PLEASE

don't feel obligated to come 

if your plate is 

already full to overflowing!

 Come if you can and bring your

work gloves and tools 

to spend a couple of hours

clipping, raking and digging

......Then.....

We'll have PIZZA and root beer

for the fam home eve treat.

Come when you can in the late afternoon

and early evening

and we'll gratefully put you to work

on Monday April 22, 2013

Wilfardo Wedding Shower

It's going to be a busy spring

with three Wilfardo Weddings on the way....

Heather and Will on May 8th

Christie and Michael on June 1st
Austin and Brianna on June 8th
SO....
We've decided to have a combined
Miscellaneous shower on
Saturday April 6th
Since we'll be tying three quilts
we'll need as much help as we can get

Place:  Aunt Julie Beck's house
Time: 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Come when you can
and stay as long as you can
A light supper will be served

The guys will be in Priesthood meeting
so this is a time for the "girls" to enjoy visiting
and working together

Treadmill Available

Anyone in the family who can use a treadmill

is welcome to it!

With the Missionaries living in the basement

it is not practical for us anymore.

We are walking at the mall most mornings

and it is working out well for us.

Jenn and Jared said they could use it in their new house

but they had no way to get it to Colorado Springs 

So...if anyone can use it,  all you have to do is come get it!

We would like to have the space for the upcoming Wilfardo parties

so the first one to call will be the new owner.

We have had it quite a while,  and it has a lot of miles on it

but we have had a service contract on it

and have had it serviced every year.

The roller and the belt have both been replaced.

so give Grandma a call if you are interested!

The Holidays

The first big snowstorm has come,

the mall is decorated for Christmas

and Thanksgiving is next week....

Guess it's time to get serious about dates for

upcoming holiday events

The traditional Wilfardo/Wilfy Christmas Party

will be Saturday December 22, 2012

at noon for lunch

at Grandma and Grandpa Barfuss'

Jodie and Stacie will figure out the gift exchange

for the Wilfardo's 

Jessica and Andrea will figure out 

the book exchange for the Wilfy's

(Did you realize that there are now 26 Wilfy's
with three more on the way!)

We'll have the traditional program

so practice up on your instruments and singing

to share with your cousins.

And don't forget your stocking filled with 

goodies and trinkets from Grandpa Barfuss!

We usually hold the adult Wilfardo Party

after Christmas and everyone is back to normal...

(whatever that is)

so we'd like your input on a date
and time for this event.

There are new babies, new jobs, new schools etc. so...

let Grandma know
what you are thinking about the following dates

Friday or Saturday December 28th or 29th

Friday or Saturday January 4th or 5th

or...skip it this year

My niece recently posted the following on Facebook...

even if you haven't talked too much lately!"

The "Sibling and Spouse activity" was held in May
when we all flew down to California
for Nate and Emily's wedding....

of course that doesn't mean we can't get together again
and go out to dinner together sometime
when Stacie and Kevin are in town...
Just need to know when they are coming!

Getting together with family
is what the holidays are all about.
